Local first
An account is optional. Your Spaces, bookmarks and notes live in your browser and are uploaded to our servers only if you sign in and turn on Sync. Site-icon requests are separate, as described next.
Site icons use third parties
To show icons, your browser may ask Google using each site’s hostname — including pages in your Recent list, which comes from your browsing history. A request may be served from cache. Other icons may be requested from the sites that host them. See the Privacy Policy.

We make money from Weaver Pro subscriptions, not from showing ads. What we process, and what third parties may receive, is described in the Privacy Policy.

Questions, answered
Is Weaver really free?
Yes. Everything that runs on your device — Spaces, folders, bookmarks, tabs, notes, search, import and export — is free and works without an account. Weaver Pro adds cloud sync with automatic merge and version restore points.
Where is my data stored?
On your computer, in Chrome’s extension storage. If you sign in and turn on Weaver Sync, an encrypted connection uploads your Spaces, bookmarks (titles, URLs and icon addresses), notes and a few display settings to our servers so your other devices can download them. Separately, your browser may load site icons from third parties: when a request is sent, Google’s icon service receives the hostnames of the pages in your Recent list and of links you add by hand or paste, even without an account. Requests may be served from cache. You can export your bookmarks (JSON or HTML) and clear the data on your device from Settings at any time. A cloud account is deleted from the extension’s account settings; if the account has checkout or billing history, the extension may be unable to delete it, and you should contact support@weavertab.work.
How does Sync handle conflicts?
Weaver merges each bookmark, folder and note independently, so edits on different devices simply combine. If the same item was changed in two places, both versions are kept for you to pick — nothing is silently overwritten.
How does the free trial work?
The 14-day Pro trial starts inside the Weaver extension once you sign in. No card is required and it never turns into a paid plan on its own; when it ends you simply return to the free plan unless you choose to subscribe.
Which browsers are supported?
Chrome and other Chromium-based browsers that install from the Chrome Web Store, such as Edge, Brave and Arc.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel in the Weaver extension under Settings → Membership, and you keep Pro until the end of the billing period. The website account page shows your plan and payment status but can’t change or cancel it. Cancelling does not delete your local data.
